We met Jane in Grenada at Sunsation Tours while researching a documentary about Grenada for Sat.1. We were immediately intrigued by her and she was to become the main protagonist of the documentary. Unfortunately nothing came of the documentation.
So we made our own documentary about Grenada and about Jane and her life so far.
Jane was born in the GDR shortly before the Berlin Wall fall down. Her father came from the Caribbean, Grenada, to study in Freiberg, a small town in East Germany. There he met her mom, a student from East Berlin.
